Locating Accounts in Epic
General Information
There are a number of ways to search for a client. The most comprehensive is by Account/Business Name. This is a search by “contains”. A complete name is not required, but the most unique letters in the Account or Contact Name is best. This search looks in the Account Name as well as Contacts. Less is more. You don’t have to enter whole names, policy numbers etc when locating these items in Epic. Just enter the unique part of business name, last name or policy number. If searching by "Last name, First name" Start with first part of the Last Name and add only the first letter of the First Name.
